ProCreate (handled by Logistics and Promotions) The ProCreate team is the creatives team of CompSAt which will be composed of CompSAt members who are dedicated to using their creative skills and talents to produce eye-catching designs and come up with exciting ways for promoting CompSAt events. Team members do not have to be limited to Photoshop experts and graphic artists: we're also looking for those who are good at writing taglines/blurbs, conceptualizing ideas and critiquing. Extra Requirements: Attach at least two samples of your work or include a link to your portfolio, Tumblr, DeviantArt, blog, etc. 2. Marketing (handled by Finance and Marketing) Do you want to learn how to market CompSAt and its projects? Get an inside perspective on contacting companies. Learn how to give off the right image and promote effectively. Establish long-term relationships with partner corporations. It is never too late to learn. Learn by doing. Join the CompSAt Marketing Team! Extra Requirements: Schedule an interview with Russel Perez (russel@compsat.org / 0917-803-8251) anytime during March 9-16. 3. Wildcard (handled by Documentation and Publications) Wildcard, the official newsletter of CompSAt, contains updates and reviews about organization events, and provide CompSAt members with an avenue to learn relevant and interesting information about the world of IT. We’re currently looking for dedicated writing contributors (though external submissions are always welcome) and editors to aid in proofreading and distribution. Extra Requirements: Attach a 200-word (or less) essay describing any IT-related topic (games, gadgets, concepts, etc.) or CompSAt event that you have attended. 4. Development (handled by Research and Development) CompSAt's official Development Team is a collection of skilled individuals realizing the organization's goals of IT proficiency and services, through the application of the latest technology towards the creation of applications, information systems, and software solutions for the greater community, allowing them to apply their education, practice their passion, and sharpen their skills, in the process of addressing the needs of today's society. The team is currently recruiting developers, seeking those who are interested in not only the refinement of their craft, but also acting as agents by which modern information technology can be effectively and efficiently integrated into society. Extra Requirements: Specify any experience with programming languages (Java, C/C++, PHP, HTML, CSS, Javascript, MySQL, etc) and content management systems and frameworks (Wordpress, Drupal, CodeIgniter, JQuery, Hibernate, Spring, etc.) In addition, please include, if possible, a link to a website or online system you have created. Package Heads (handled by Internal Affairs) CompSAt will be divided into smaller groups called packages, composed of members that represent all year levels. For each package, there will be one assigned package head, who will be assisted by the Executive Board and Associates Council in managing the members. The package heads will report to the CompSAt Internal Affairs department, and will be in charge of keeping in touch with their members for announcements, kamustahan, and bringing their small group of members into the CompSAt family. Extra Requirements: Schedule an interview with Joyce Rada (joyce@compsat.org / 0927-795-8133) anytime during March 9-16.
